Rin Chupeco has truly written one of the best series with the most amazing and diverse set of characters, riveting plot and amazing world building. They are absolutely magical and their love will definitely make you emotional. The romance in this book is beautiful and I love the couple (trying not to spoil!) with all my heart. There is amazing trans rep in this book and the character’s journey is absolutely heartwarming and the support of the people around will surely make you smile. There is the cutest f/f romance though it is not as explored in this book. All the characters come together in this one and we get to the beautiful friendships and dynamics. Tea has the most amazing character development from the first book to this one and her journey is enthralling to read.

The writing format is gorgeous and continues as the first two books, with two POVs, that of the Bard and Tea, alternating between the present time and the past where all the events unfold to bring us to the present time. The plot thickens in this part and the suspense and tension is so high that you could literally cut it with a knife. I had literal chills while reading the ending and there were definitely tears in my eyes when I read the last 20 pages or so. The world building was beautiful as ever and there were so many parts which just left my mouth hanging open. She is a bone witch and they are not respected as much but hold the most important job in the world of defeating Daeva, which are different demons. The Shadowglass is the epic conclusion to The Bone Witch series which is an ownvoices Asian inspired fantasy about Tea who brings back her brother Fox from the dead and thus realizes her asha powers to resurrect the dead and control things. I did not want this series to end but at the same time the ending had me super emotional and happy. This series has become one of my ALL-TIME favorites and it was, admittedly, a little difficult to write this review because I am feeling so many emotions.
